Lace up your dancing shoes…Cut Copy is returning to a turntable and loudspeakers near you.
The feverishly anticipated third record from the Australian dance-rock band will be called ‘Zonoscope’, it arrives on February 8th, and here’s an early taste of it:
On a morning radio program this week in their native country, the band described the track as “certainly one of the more pop moments on the album”.
The group finished up the recording process in July (in the middle of the Australian winter) before hitting a few shows, including Lollapalooza. They then mixed the tracks with a guy named Ben Allen , who’s worked with the likes of Gnarls Barkley and Animal Collective.
