Over the years, NUDE HIPPO has covered a lot of great theatre in Chicago and now we're proud to launch a column covering Broadway shows in Chicago, written by Shannon Milligan. Shannon recently wrote about Broadway in Chicago's Peter Pan, but there are so many more shows coming to Chicago and she will try to cover them all. For the first time ever, go behind the scenes of a rehearsal for the half-hour version of NUDE HIPPO. See what happens between the talent and crew as they prepare for the offbeat magazine-style talk show! This was a fictional scripted concept of the weekly program. During the decade run on cable, there was never a rehearsal for any episode of NUDE HIPPO, (and it showed). Back in 2007, NUDE HIPPO: YOUR CHICAGO SHOW was winding down an amazing run on cable after a decade. So when asked what were they going to do now, the response was simple; "We're going to Disney World!" Tony Lossano, Amy Zanglin & Damaris Woodbury packed their bags and met up with the Florida NUDE HIPPO production team to tape three weeks worth of episodes at the four main parks at Walt Disney World, while staying and showcasing three of the Disney Resorts.
