Over the years, NUDE HIPPO has covered a lot of great theatre in Chicago and now we're proud to launch a column covering Broadway shows in Chicago, written by Shannon Milligan. Shannon recently wrote about Broadway in Chicago's Peter Pan, but there are so many more shows coming to Chicago and she will try to cover them all. They are permanent...as in this decision will stick with you for the rest of your life. However, if you put your ink in a hidden spot...it can be your little secret. While getting a tattoo your skin is pricked between 50 and 3,000 times per minute by a needle in a tattoo machine. It's the biggest Chicago sports uproar since the Hawks won the Stanley Cup! Can the Bears make it to the Super Bowl? For the sake of Chicago team spirit and riding on a wave of good luck, let's hope so. However, for the sake of my Green Bay boyfriend I am torn. Is your fridge camera ready? As in, would you take a photo of your refrigerator and feel comfortable posting it online for millions to see? Is yours clean and tidy or does it look more like a garbage dump filled with expired food? Well, I didn't have to worry too much when my producer asked for my fridge's photo. Who doesn't love a movie with Vince Vaughn? He's funny, he's real and not to mention... incredibly tall. Vince is back on the big screen showing off his home town and mine, Chicago. I just left the "cast and crew" preview of "The Dilemma" and loved it. Sure, I might be biased after being on set for more than 10 hours for 2 days in a row with Vince Vaughn and Kevin James. (Let's be real, I think I even left one night with tears in my eyes because I was frozen and couldn't feel my feet from being laced in my skates for hours.) "He shoots...he SCORES!" (insert announcer voice.) Patrick Kane is known for helping the Blackhawks achieve their "One Goal"; including the Stanley Cup winning "phantom shot."
